Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with our spelling test. After, we talked about zoom etiquette and manners in preparation for our pen pal zooms this afternoon. Then, students had their Literature Circle Discussions and then handed in their booklets for me to mark over the break for reading comprehension and completion.

Then, we had snack and DPA. After DPA, we watched some awesome space and moon videos and then we got the computers set up for our zoom.

We had the zoom this afternoon which was fun. There were hiccups, but I’m glad that the students got to see their pen pals and most of the kids were able to chat with their buddies.

At the very end of the day, we did a mindfulness video quickly and then students worked on literacy activities that they had not finished.

Just a reminder that students need to bring a labelled grocery bag tomorrow to hold their belongings.
