Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with continuing our paraphrasing work and then students worked on finding text evidence and writing out a paragraph to prove an inference. They are doing such a great job with this! I hope that this will help them continue to become better and better writers and researchers 😊

After, students had snack and went to Music. After Music, we had DPA and then went to the library.

After lunch, students wrote their second decimals and fractions quizzes. I will post these tomorrow. At the very end of the day, we talked about different kinds of addictions, what an addiction is and is not, and negative effects of addictions. We looked at video game addictions: signs of this and what the potential negative effects are on one’s life. The kids were very engaged in this discussion, which was great!

Tomorrow is Literature Circle #5 and students should be ready with their work completed and their assigned readings done. It is also the spelling test tomorrow.
