Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with some Math review of area, perimeter, metric notation, and the 24 hour clock, which were some of the areas the kids had difficulty with on the practice quiz. We will review some more volume tomorrow as well.

After, students went to music, had DPA in the beautiful sunshine and then went to the library.

After lunch, we read a bit of “Wonder” and then students did their Daily 5 stations.

At the very end of the day, we talked about how to fill someone’s bucket physically such as giving a hug, high five, etc. (During non covid times) and taking care of your own physical body health by sleeping enough and eating good, healthy food. Then, I introduced an imagery and visualization art activity that we are going to do in relation to our Indigenous unit for Social Studies.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the spelling test and they need to wear their running shoes for Ms. Parke’s lesson tomorrow. Black shirt day is also on Friday.

Have a good night!

Sincerely,

Ms. Wilks
