Dear Parents,

Today, we started off the day by finishing up the reading assessment that we started on Monday. I will put comments regarding their reading on their report cards for our Fall Interim Update to update you on how their reading is going.

After that, we had snack and DPA.

Following DPA, we did our Daily 5 group activities and then we learned how to writ a screenplay. The students took notes on the format of script writing in preparation of writing scripts to perform in Drama.

After lunch, Grade 4’s had time to work on their desert biome section – their whole Biome sheet of paper will be due on Thursday. The Grade 5’s had time to work on their Social Studies Project in Microsoft Teams. They reflected on their plan at the end of class to see if they were on target or not.

At the very end of the day, we did some embroidery.

No homework except the biome project due on Thursday for Grade 4’s and spelling test on Thursday.
