Dear Parents,

Today, we had computers for an hour today for students to type up their myths. The students did a great job typing up their stories and need to draw a picture to accompany their story to be handed in tomorrow with their rough copy, their planning sheet, and their good copy. I will bind all of the stories into one large class book! They worked really hard and were very focused on this task. It is due tomorrow in good copy, printed form! After that, we had library where they talked about pink shirt day and how you are accepted just as you are! 🙂

After lunch, we had Gym class where we played Explorers and practiced playing some basketball games in teams. We also played Frogs & Flies/Murder Wink as well, which was fun as a calm down game. Then, we had community time since tomorrow there are two assemblies scheduled (kind of a busy week of events!).

After recess, we had a class meeting about pink shirt day and talking about successes and improvements for our classroom. Students are encouraged to wear a pink shirt tomorrow to support the stopping of bullying and instead the spreading of kindness. Then, Ms. B came in to do her lesson on expected vs. unexpected behaviour again and being ready with clear desks during lessons.

Just a reminder that the spelling test is tomorrow!
