Dear Parents,

This morning, we had our Math money quiz. Most students did fairly well, but some marks were lost due to not re-checking calculations. I will be posting the marked quizzes on Fresh Grade this afternoon/evening. Please let me know if you have any questions. When students are done, they played money/multiplication math games on the computer.

After snack, the students had library where they learned to look at the online database/websites to find information about explorers. We will be completing this unit in February, so it was definitely a great resource that will come in handy!

After lunch, we played benchball as part of our championships and we worked on dribbling the ball in alternating hands, blocking other players, and practicing chest passes in partners. Then, we did our Daily 5 literacy activities.

At the end of the day, we had a classroom meeting and Ms. B came in to do a lesson on unexpected and expected behaviour. As a class, we really need to work on not fidgeting at our desks, reading, or playing with things and showing full body listening, eye contact, and other signs of attentive listening.

Tomorrow, we start our shop day #1 of selling! Students need to be ready for this.
