Dear Parents,

Today, we worked on our Math Tessellation keychains. They are starting to look really neat with some students making patterns with unicorns, dragons, stingrays, and more. Then, the students had more rehearsal practice for the Music concert! Our music concert is on Wednesday and the afternoon session begins promptly at 12:45 after lunch! There is also the night performance on Wednesday as well.

After lunch, students performed their Medieval Drama scripts and did a good job with it! Then, we continued to work on our medieval buildings. They are coming together and looking great 🙂 At the end of the day, students went to the Gym to engage in some activities with the Music teachers.

Please note: unfortunately, a spray today other than the normal spray was used by one of the students on the desks. Some of the students might have touched it – it is called Tilex. At its worst, it could irritate skin, but I told the students to all wash their hands immediately if they touched it, so they should be fine. We also aired out the room because it smelled quite strong.

We are also doing Christmas baking decorating on Thursday, if you have any decorations/icing and could send it with your child, that would be great 🙂 I told the kids that I spent 12 hours between Saturday and Sunday baking for them and am very excited about it! 🙂

We also have a spelling test on Thursday, December 19th.

We will be having a holiday party on Friday as well, so the students are encouraged to bring snacks for this if they would like.
