Dear Parents,

Today, we worked on patterns. I have posted some of our example patterns on Fresh Grade. e.g. 2, 4, 6, 8: the pattern rule is Start at 2 and add 2 each time (repeatedly). I gave the students some challenging patterns as well to see what they already knew about patterns including one pattern with squared numbers. The students worked on pages 8-9 #1-7 and it is homework if it is not done.

They also had a music rehearsal today for the Winter Holiday concert, which is next Wednesday, December 18th.

After lunch, we went over our brand new spelling words, which features some more biome words and some holiday words. I will post them on Fresh Grade.

At the end of the day, we worked on our Drama script acting as we will be presenting these on Monday. If students do not have enough time in class, they will need to practice outside during lunch or at recess.

Another reminder for the pancake breakfast to bring a plate, cup, fork, and knife inside of a ziploc bag. The School Meal Program form went out today as well. Please come pick up a form if your child did not get one and needs one – envelope due December 16th and online order by December 15th.
