Dear Parents,

Today, we took another turn in our Catan biome game. Some groups started to build bridges and two groups are challenging each other for a village spot!

Then, we explored patterns on the interactive multiplication chart: https://www.mathplayground.com/interactive_multiplication_chart.html – we coloured in many different patterns and the kids were able to find so many that I didn’t even notice before!

Then, they worked on page 100 #1-9, which is homework if they are not done.

After lunch we worked at our literacy station activities and learned about pronouns – specifically interrogative pronouns.

At the end of the day, the students read a Biome sheet on our next biome the Tropical Rainforest and highlighted the most important points from the information sheets. They are tasked with drawing and writing some information about the Rainforest biome on their Biome Pamphlet sheet, which is also for homework if they have not finished.

The spelling test is on Thursday also.

We are going skating on December 6th and are looking for parent volunteers as well to drive students to Moody park. Please also pay the $5 as soon as possible.

The FSA result envelopes are also going home today.
