The answer is 12 sea turtles left swimming in the ocean. 
There were 15 turtles in the tank and 3 swam away. How many left over? ~ Angelina

There were 6 turtles in the Pacific Ocean and 6 in the Atlantic. How many in all? ~ Akash
15 sea turtles ran on the sand but 3 went too fast ahead and the rest swam in the ocean. How many swimming? ~ Kaitlyn
42 turtles were swimming in the ocean when a whale approached. 10 turtles swam west, 10 turtles swam east and 10 turtles swam to the surface. How many left over? ~ Ms. Watt
