A reminder and re-introduction to our classroom THINK MATH poster. The answer to a word problem is posted every week both in our classroom and on this website. You your imagination and creativity to create a word problem that has the answer posted. After writing your word problem, don’t forget to add the question as well.
Below are 2 answers to word problems that are waiting for your creative word problem. You can either write them in your planner or submit them by clicking on the Leave a Comment / * Comments on the top or bottom of this post.
Remember there are as many different correct answers as there are students in our class! I can’t wait to share your word problems next Tuesday!
examples: 11 children were on the playground trying to catch snowflakes on their tongues. Each kid caught 2 snowflakes. How many snowflakes were caught in all?
There are 25 elves working in Santa’s workshop. 5 elves snuck out to play in the snow, 3 elves got tired and fell asleep and 10 elves had to go prepare Santa’s sleigh. How many elves left working in Santa’s woirkshop?
