So…Ms. Frizzle doesn’t work at Nelson & we can’t turn a school bus into a rocket ship to take us to the moon, so…
we stepped out this week & used kinesthetic learning to help us envision the solar system & its immense size…
…& better understand how far each planet is from the sun by creating a small scale map of it—using our steps & cone planets!
At the end of our walk we were a step ahead in our knowledge of the solar system!
