The answer is 30 students performing at the Volunteer Tea in the gym.
There were 90 kids performing at the Volunteer Tea. 50 were in the hospital. 10 moved. How many left over performing? ~ Prabh
There were 40 students performing at the Volunteer Tea. 10 got kicked on their butts by hurting someone. How many left? ~ Avi
There were 45 students performing at the Volunteer Tea. 5 got kicked out because they were talking. How many left? ~ Avi
There were 40 students performing at the Volunteer Tea. 5 got blown away by a big fan and 5 got a cold. How many left? ~ Luke
There were 50 students performing at the Volunteer Tea. 10 broke a mug. 10 went to Turin. How many left over? ~ Akash

My favourite (soon to be yours too!) time of the school year has arrived! abc-countdown The ALPHABET COUNTDOWN has begun!

For the rest of the school year we’ll be celebrating each day with a letter, or two. We’ll be participating in activities &/or dressing in something special to make our last month together memorable & lots of fun!
Tomorrow we begin with our stuffed nimals!

Grouse Mountain Field Trip

Last month the Grade 2s, 3s and 4s in Division 7, 8 & 9 traveled by school bus to Grouse Mountain for a day of adventure in the snow!!!

First, we walked through the winter wonderland of Grouse to have an interactive experience all about bears with bear artifacts, stories and we learned the similarities and differences between the 3 species of North American bears: the grizzly, black bear and polar bear!
Next, we stepped into an authentic Pacific Northwest Longhouse and had the privilege of having Kwel-a-a-nexw, Grouse’s Squamish First nations elder, take us back in time to discover the traditional way of life of our First Nations people.
After enjoying our lunches in the Grouse Mountain cafeteria, we had a guided snowshoe tour along the Light Walk trail before jumping back on the gondola and travelling down to our awaiting school bus back to school!

There were 300 students competing in Speed Demons. 40 got sick. 40 more got tired. How many in all? ~ Luke
