Bookbeast Sheets

Every student in Division 8 is expected to fill out their Bookbeast Sheet every night after they read. If your sheet gets lost, please print a new one off at home. If you do not have a printer, please let Ms. Watt know immediately.
To print off a new one, visit the Nelson School website at https://nelson.burnabyschools.ca/ . Click on the LIBRARY tab along the top of the page and then choose BOOK BEAST SHEETS in the drop down menu.

There are 25 students colouring in a map of Canada and 1 more comes in and joins them. How many in all? ~ Giunelly
There were 20 kids in the class doing Terry Fox maps. 6 people came because they were late and the 6 kids started doing the Terry Fox maps. How many kids are doing the maps? ~ Rosetta

Cross Country Intramurals 2019

Nelson students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7 participated in our annual Cross Country competition on Thursday, October 3rd. Students ran around the whole block, ending with a sprint towards the finish line at our playground. Division 8 had lots of fun racing for the 1st time against other grade 3s and all did an awesome job!
