The Playoffs have begun!
Without our Canucks… Too Sad
But, that doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun & cheer for a team! In our poll Division 8 chose to follow the Pittsburgh Penguins & we’ve already started to graph their winning ways in class.
Let’s hope the ’14 Penguins can last longer than the ’13 Canucks!

Here are some pictures of Flat Miss Watt across the water from the Golden Temple, Amritsar; outside the gates of the Taj Mahal; at the Amber Palace, Jaipur; at the Taj Mahal, Agra; & in Jaipur, also known as Pink City because most of the buildings are pink! Wow!!

IGOR the Bookbeast

Mrs. Roberts announced at March’s Celebration of Learning Assembly that IGOR the Bookbeast would travelling around Nelson finding cozy places to read his favourite books.
Igor’s travels ended last week after being welcomed into 19 classrooms in Nelson & now he’s back resting in the library with the best librarian in Burnaby, Mrs. Roberts!Below are pictures of Igor’s travels!

Recycling Superstars!

At Friday’s assembly
Ms Dodd & the Green
Team distributed the Recycling Awards that they’ve been displaying
since September.
Halley accepted on
behalf of Division 8
~ 3! ~ the most of
any other class.
Well done Grade 3s!
Keep up the great work!
She also announced that Nelson is competing against other BC schools to see who can recycle the most.
Let’s Go Nelson!!!
