Congrats to Angie & Amanda for correctly guessing the our 4th Where Am I? of the summer! Check out the Where Am I? page to see the winning answer & the 2nd best university in British Columbia. 😉 haha
The inspiration for our 5th clue comes from my vacation plans for the last couple weeks in August. It’ll be our final Where Am I? for the summer as I won’t have access to a computer during the trip. This city is brimming with history, which I love, & has a couple of friends of mine who moved there whom I love as well! Can’t wait to see them & the sites of this beautiful city & can’t wait to sharing my adventures with you in September!

The inspiration for our 4th clue comes from my second favourite thing to do for exercise in the summer. This incredible weather is continuing into August & doesn’t look like it’s stopping anytime soon! I need to make sure to stay hydrated for this exercise & it takes me to some pretty cool Vancouver spots.

Congrats to Angie & Onisha for correctly guessing the 1st half of our 2nd Where Am I? of the summer! Check out the Where Am I? page to see the winning answer & I’m eager to see if anyone can correctly guess the entire length of this famous North Shore trail It’s a LONG one! My dad & I hiked 1/2 of it last summer & will be finishing the 2nd 1/2 this summer.
The inspiration for our 3rd clue comes from my favourite thing to do for exercise in the summer. We’ve been lucky to have incredible weather so far in July & I hope you’re all getting out & active in this gorgeous sunshine!

Congrats to Onisha for correctly guessing our 1st Where Am I? of the summer! Check out the Where Am I? page to see the winning answer & how its connected to this years World Cup host city!
The inspiration for our 2nd clue comes from my dad! He’s written a hiking book based on the North Shore & we enjoyed a hike a couple days ago to an enormous 1100 year old Douglas Fir! I had a Who’s Taller contest & then gave it a hug before we continued on our way! Incredible tree! Good Luck with this week’s question!

Flat Angelina’s adventures in Israel! Here are some pictures of Flat Angie at the Israel airport, posing with 2 Israeli soldiers, at the sacred ancient Western Wall, next to a real candle that was used by people a few hundred years ago, by a painting depicting ancient Israeli markets & an ancient Israel map, & visiting King David’s tomb. An adventure filled with rich history!!

CANADA DAY ADVENTURES!

I hope everyone had lots of fun celebrating Canada Day!! I always wish we were still in school for the holiday so we could celebrate together & continue to learn lots of cool things about our fabulous country of Canada! Make sure to answer the poll & share what you did with your family &/or friends!
I went to a bbq & got to visit with one of my very best friends from Simon Fraser University, Allyson. She moved to Baltimore, Maryland with her husband 6 years ago & this was her first time back in 4 years! I missed her! We ate lots of good food & I got to play with her two kids, Connor & Grace. We’ll be travelling down to Seattle for the 4th of July before they get back on a plane to fly home on Saturday. I’ll share pictures of all the cool stuff we’re sure to see as Seattle celebrates their country’s big day!

Many thanks to everyone who supported your Nelson teachers over the last couple weeks! Thanks to everyone who drove by with waves & honks, dropped off treats, & a special thanks to those who came by & brightened my day with a special treat or gift.

Everybody should have their own Flat Stanley at home & I can’t wait to see all the places that you explore this summer! Love you Division 8, have a TON of fun this summer & I can’t wait to see you all in September!
