Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas Nelsonites! I hope everyone has had tons of fun over the past week celebrating the holidays & spending time with your friends & families!
148377-Animated-Merry-Christmas-With-SantaAfter lots of fun during the last few days of school, including catching snowflakes on our tongues on the playground, I celebrated my birthday with friends while enjoying some crazy good cinnamon bun french toast! One of my families traditions is lighting candles on the advent wreath on the 4 Sundays before Christmas.  Ryan & I hosted our families for a German Christmas on Christmas Eve. I had a bit of an unsuccessful attempt at baking rolls for Christmas morning. We then finished off our celebrations with a delicious turkey dinner with all the fixings at my mom’s house. Enjoy your 2nd week of winter holidays & I can’t wait to hear about all your celebrations in the New Year!

Jingle Returns!!

Last year a friendly scout elf was sent by Santa to Room 203 to watch & report on whether Nelson’s Grade 3s this year are naughty or nice!
She’s back and it looks like she’s got a new pet reindeer!
IMG_2116
I can’t wait to see who’ll be the first to spy the new spot she’ll be watching from each day! I hope her daily report to Santa includes many acts of kindness that she witnesses in our classroom.
