Flat Casandra’s adventures with the sea life at the Vancouver Aquarium! Here are some pictures of Flat Casandra hanging out with a turtle, manta ray & tropical fish including some of Nemo’s family! She’s even dressed for the occasion!

The answer is 11 hockey players on the ice. 
The Edmonton Oilers are versing the bleu, blanc & rouge (Montreal Canadiens). A goalie gets kicked out of the game, the coach puts 1 more player on the ice. How many players on the ice?? ~ Daniel
50 hockey players are playing hockey. 27 hockey players needed to go to the bathroom. 20 were hungry so they bought a muffin & 3 of them went home. 11 came back to finish the game. How many are playing? ~ Benson
There are 12 hockey players on the ice. When they were playing 1 person fell down but he did not need the hospital. He just needed to rest. How many hockey players didn’t get hurt? ~ Cayla
There are 21 hockey players & then 10 people didn’t want to play. How many left? ~ Bariki
There are 25 hockey players on the ice. 20 minutes later all of the players go back in. Then Julia said, “I want a doughnut. Goodbye.” Then Sahana & 10 more people came back in the rink. How many players on the ice? ~ Chloe
There are 10 players on the ice then 1 more player joins in how many players in all? ~ Mia
There are 20 hockey players on the ice. 9 went for hot chocolate. How many left? ~ Julia
There are 16 players on the ice. Then 4 more players come & join them. 3 people went for hot cocoa & 2 of them had to go to the washroom so they left. 1 of the players got hurt so he sat down on the bench & cheered on the others. 3 players got cold & started to get frostbites so they left & 1 of them bought some hot chocolate & 1 of them bought a cup of tea. Then 2 of them returned from the washroom & joined the other players & they got a goal! How many players on the ice? ~ Casandra

There are 20 classrooms in Community Cleanup. Chloe convinces 5 classroom teachers to help animals instead. How many classes still doing Community Cleanup? ~ Julia
12 classrooms weren’t cleaning the streets. 3 classrooms are cleaning the streets. Then Miss Watt’s class convinced 5 classes to clean up. Then Miss Sam’s class convinced 2 classes to cleanup. Then Sahana got 2 m0re classes to clean up the streets. Then Casandra got 3 classes to clean up the streets. How many in all? ~ Vera
There were 18 classrooms cleaning up the community for Earth Day & 3 classrooms left. How many in all? ~ Nicholas
There were 14 classrooms cleaning up the community for Earth Day but then 1 more classroom joins. How many in all? ~ Mia
There are 5 classes outside for Community Cleanup. 5 more classes came & joined them. Mrs. James’ class want to go outside & enjoy the really pretty air so they went out. How many classes out for Community Cleanup? ~ Casandra

There are 30 classrooms who want to do Community Cleanup but then 15 classes got an earthquake. They are okay, but they unable to do it by themselves so they clean up their mess. How many classes doing Community Cleanup? ~ Cayla

There are 21 projects in the art room. Amber makes 1 more project & Sukhman grabs all 22 projects & puts them on the bulletin board. Gian comes & rips one off & puts it in the recycling bin. How many left? ~ Daniel
There are 15 kids & 6 more come to the Earth Day fair. How many in all? ~ Sahana
There are 24 Earth Day art projects & 11 Earth Day projects in Miss Sam’s class. 1 hour later Miss Sam takes down the art! Then 3 art projects got taken home! How many left? ~ Chloe
There are 36 students that made Earth Day projects that were displayed on the wall. 4 student’s projects fell off the wall & 7 students transferred & took their projects with them. 4 students had no unfinished work so they finished making another project that was supposed to be for the next art project, so they could take home the Earth Day project. How many projects left? ~ Julia

There are 43 Easter bunnies eaten at the Metrotown Fair. I eat 3 more. How many Easter bunnies eaten in all? ~ Daniel
There are 50 Easter bunnies & 46 chocolate bunnies in all. 50 ate the 45 chocolate bunnies. The 46th bunny surrendered. How many eaten in all? ~ Sukhman
43 chocolate bunnies & Zack put 3 more in. How many in all? ~ Cameron
There was a chocolate Easter bunny eating contest & there were 2 people. One was Mrs. James & the other one was a random person from the audience because Mrs. James was the only one who signed in. They ate 23 bunnies each & MRS. JAMES WON! YAY! ~ Cayla

Easter is here & there are 10 eggs in 2 baskets. A third basket has 13 eggs. How many eggs in all? ~ Daniel
There were 34 Easter eggs in 3 Easter baskets. Then the Easter Bunny took 1 Easter egg from 1 of the baskets. How many are left? ~ Mia
40 eggs in each of 3 Easter baskets. Zackary stole 7 eggs from each Easter basket. How many in all? ~ Cameron
There is an Easter contest. Julia, Cayla & Vera joined. Sahana is the judge. When Sahana counted all of the eggs…Julia got 34, Vera got 36 & Cayla got 35! Julia trades Vera for a doughnut. Julia got a doughnut, Vera got an egg & then Vera lost 4 eggs. Cayla lost 2. How many eggs & baskets? ~ Chloe
There are 22 Easter eggs in 2 baskets & then Casandra gave 11 more Easter eggs to each basket & 1 more Easter basket. How many in all? ~ Cayla
There are 4 third graders carrying 4 baskets with 10 Easter eggs in each basket. One kid eats 7 Easter eggs & one kid decides to do something else & gives the 10 eggs to another third grader. How many eggs in all? ~ Julia
There are 45 Easter eggs & 8 Easter baskets ready for the Easter egg hunt. 5 children came & they each took a basket & then went of to find the fun of the Easter egg hunt! The eggs! So they went off to the eggs ! La la la la! Jesses found 4 eggs. Lo lo found 3 eggs. Lona found 3 eggs as well. Bella found 2 & Lilyanna 1. Then as Bella was walking back she dropped one of her eggs & it rolled away & she could not found it. So she went on. Then they all got back & counted their eggs! Then Layla told them that there was more still more eggs that haven’t been found! How many eggs left to find & how many baskets left? ~ Casandra
