READING IN OUR HOUSE COLOURS!!

Dressed in our Greens, Blues, Golds & Reds, Nelson students & staff enjoyed a good book, or two, together in our gymnasium. Click on the pictures ~ can you spot yourself?!

CALLING ALL FLASHLIGHTS!!

On Wednesday Nelson students entered our darkened gym with flashlights & fabulous books in tow. We read together & then ended our celebration of reading with a flashlight show on the gym ceiling.

Almost as good as reading under the covers after bedtime!

SCHOOL GYM BECOMES SECRET PARK!

Classes joined together for our last Nelson Literacy Celebration. Students brought their blankets & favourite book & in lieu of Secret Park’s soft grass, grabbed a spot in our gym!
