The answer is 30 students performing at the Volunteer Tea in the gym.

There were 10 people singing. Sahana got 15 people to join. Amber and Selena got 5 more to the Volunteer Tea. Then the Volunteer Tea felt so good & happy & thought that the kids sang very well & loved the singing. How many kids singing at the Volunteer Tea? ~ Vera
There are 100 students performing at the Volunteer Tea. Then Sahana was in lala land & fell asleep! Then Mrs. Mur Mur Mur woke her up! Then Julia left for a doughnut break & said I NEEEEED a sweet treat to munch on! Then 69 people drop out! Then Julia comes back in. How many performing? ~ Chloe
There are 70 people performing. After 1 hour all of Mrs. James’ students had to go to the washroom. So 40 people left. How many people still performing? ~ Cayla

At the Speed Demons there were 100 children racing & the coach said start! 50 kids tripped & got hurt. 60 other children came & ten of them were hungry so they left.Then 50 of the children came & 10 of them remembered to watch their TV show & 70 of them came back & 1 got hurt again. 11 of them came back to finish the race. ~ Benson

50 hockey players are playing hockey. 27 hockey players needed to go to the bathroom. 20 were hungry so they bought a muffin & 3 of them went home. 11 came back to finish the game. How many are playing? ~ Benson
There are 12 hockey players on the ice. When they were playing 1 person fell down but he did not need the hospital. He just needed to rest. How many hockey players didn’t get hurt? ~ Cayla

There are 25 hockey players on the ice. 20 minutes later all of the players go back in. Then Julia said, “I want a doughnut. Goodbye.” Then Sahana & 10 more people came back in the rink. How many players on the ice? ~ Chloe

Then 4 more players come & join them. 3 people went for hot cocoa & 2 of them had to go to the washroom so they left. 1 of the players got hurt so he sat down on the bench & cheered on the others. 3 players got cold & started to get frostbites so they left & 1 of them bought some hot chocolate & 1 of them bought a cup of tea. Then her friends Jasmine & India came to check things out. They bought 10 shamrocks all together. Then they bumped into Scarlett, Katie & Lauren who had each bought a shamrock for St.Patrick’s! Mrs. James arrived 1st at the bowling ally. Mrs. James then counted how many students she had – 24 students. Then after 5 minutes Mr. Morrison’s class comes. They also had 24 kids & they were late because a lot of people were talking. How many adults & children came bowling? ~ Cayla
