Celebrating 100 Days

Divisions 8 & 9 created some fun writing by imagining themselves 90+ years into the future and with a little help from the app AgingBooth they had some wrinkly inspiration. Ever imagine yourself at 100?!

St. Michaels Visit

On Thursday morning, we visited Saint Michaels with Miss Gatenby’s grade 1s for our 1st time this year & sang for the seniors.
I’m so proud of how everyone performed and were so respectful in a much different environment than you’re used to. Way to go grade 2s & 3s!
After entertaining, we were all spoiled with snacks and brought goodie bags back with us to school!

Valentine Mobiles

Let it Snow ❄️ Let it Snow ❄️ Let it Snow ❄️

How exciting is all this snow Division 8!?
I hope you’ve all been able to get outside and enjoy it.What have you been doing? Sledding? Skiing? Snowman building?  Kennedy wasn’t the biggest fan when we first plopped her down on our front lawn after school on Friday, but she became more comfortable playing around on our balcony afterwards. She had lots of fun when she got back out in it today.

Collecting Our Colours!

The Grade 2 & 3s have been learning a lot over the past few months about healthy living. Most recently, about eating healthy fruits and vegetables of all colours of the rainbow! Last week we created a fruit bowl full of collages of our favourite fruits!
