D ~ DINOSAUR 
books, drawing books, matching games, pattern blocks, posters, toys & more! We spent the day learning lots about dinosaurs, doing different dino activities in the morning & then learning more about dinosaurs from Bill Nye the Science Guy in the afternoon.

ALPHABET COUNTDOWN

For the rest of the school year we’ll be celebrating each day with a letter, or two. We’ll be participating in activities &/or dressing in something special to make our last month together memorable & lots of fun!IMG_4646Today we began with A & spent the day with our favourite stuffed ANIMALS!

Z is for ZOOM out of school & ZIP into summer!

Z ~ One last hour together as 2014/15’s Division 8 Grade 3s – marked our last day together this school year before ZOOMING out of Nelson & ZIPPING into summer! We watched Mr. Gurniak’s fabulous slide show of pictures from this year, we took photos for an upcoming When I Grow Up… post & Miss Watt shared one of her very favourite Dr. Seuss books, Oh, the Places You’ll Go.

Y is for YIPEEE!!! …

We celebrated with YIPPEE, it’s YEAR END free time with games & yummy treats!

In the afternoon, a touching Graduation Ceremony – Well done Mr. Morrison, Mr. Phillips & Mrs. Dodd! – marked our last day full together for the 2014-15 school year.

We celebrated the accomplishments of the Intermediate students in the morning during the aWARDS ceremony. Can’t wait to see you up there next year!

At recess, we WALKED with Ms Tsumori’s class to David Gray Park for a day of fun in the WATER & sun!!
