La classe de Mme Turcios

While exploring lines with charcoal we discovered that it gets everywhere but will wash off with soap and water. We noticed that charcoal is similar to chalk pastels in that it can be blended and spreads easily.  We noticed how using differetnt sides of the charcoal can create thicker or thinner lines.  We had fun making hand and finger prints.  Charcoal is not easy to erase and can be challenging to use.  We would have liked there to be more colours but enjoyed using our creative thinking when trying out different lines and drawings.
