We are already in April! Hope everyone had a great Spring Break! We have been taking the last few days to reconnect and begin our 3rd term units. We have some exciting things going on this term!

Walking Challenge
This month Suncrest is participating in the Walk30 Challenge. We will be going on walks with our buddy class Div 5 and when our schedule allows. Please be prepared to go outside rain or shine.
Field Trip
On Thursday April 23 our class is going on our first field trip along with Div 8, 9 & 10 to Science World. We will be taking a school bus and have room for 4 parents to join us on the bus and for free to chaperone during our trip. We will be spending the day there and participating in a Matter workshop in the afternoon. Please see the form coming home today in your child’s planner pocket to sign the form, payment on school cash and to select if you would like to be a parent to come along with us. First 4 parents to submit the form back will be coming along with us. We need 4 parents to meet the ratio for the workshop!
Attached is the notice going home. Please note School Cash is only open April 1-8. If you are on holidays and away from Suncrest you will need to have this payment in by April 8.
Fun Lunch
We have fun lunch this term on both Wednesday and Friday. If you have purchased fun lunch please do not forget to also bring a snack for our snack time after recess.
Extra clothes and Indoor shoes
For 3rd term students will need to bring their indoor shoes back to school and extra clothes. I recommend as the classroom gets very warm each afternoon to ensure your child also has a t-shirt and shorts to change into along with their wet gear for rainy weather.
