Hello Everyone!
This week I am excited to begin our integrated Literacy and Science unit on researching animals. Students will select an animal to research during the week, answering key questions about their animal’s features and behaviours.
In Math, we are combining our understanding of addition and subtraction to solve equations with missing addends and word problems. We will also learn how to play a fun game called Splat!
For Social Emotional Learning, our focus will be on perseverance and growth mindset.
We will also be celebrating Earth Day this Thursday (April 22) through stories, in-class discussions, and our art assignment. Your child is encouraged to wear blue and green for Earth Day to show their interest in protecting and caring for our Earth!
