Jump Rope for Heart took place in the gym for the whole school on February 10th. The students from Ms. Longeau’s class ran 10 different stations that all involved jumping, skipping, hopping and a variety of other exercises. Division 13 had so much fun skipping and supporting Jump Rope for Heart!
Hello Families,
Last week we celebrated the 45th Anniversary of the Terry Fox Run. We walked through our Gilmore neighbourhood with Ms Vincelli’s class and did the route two times around. It was a perfect day for the Terry Fox “Run”. Thank you to all of the families who sent in their toonie for Terry. Our class raised over $50 alone and this helped to push the school over our $1000 goal. Reaching that goal means that the teachers of Gilmore will be taking part in a water bucket challenge for the students to enjoy! Stay tuned for more information to come!
