Hi families,

I am sending some sample work home today.  Please look at it and discuss with your child.

We have been working on:

Math: Place value and the numbers in French (in writing too).  Next we will start addition strategies.

Language Arts:

• Journal writing (adding more details) and some reflections/connections to stories
• story writing (character development, beginning, middle (problem), satisfying ending (solution)
• speaking in French
• listening to directions and not interrupting when someone is talking

Requests:

If you have mismatched socks, we could use them as white board erasers.
