Community of Learners
Bean and spinach plants have been growing throughout April and May. Students see themselves represented as growing plants β each sharing the light, water and attention required to grow together in a community garden. We notice that each plant is unique. What is a fastener?
Division 9 began looking at structures and shapes last week and we explored the word fastener. Look at all the brain storm storm we created as we stretched our brains around this word. Can you think of more? Students will begin planning a community called Shapeville this week and we are also gathering cardboard materials to bring to class for this project based learning.ππ
