Welcome Back / Return to School

Dear Division 4,

Happy New Year! I hope you were all able to have a restful winter break and enjoy time spent with family, even with all this snow! The transition into the new year / term 2 has not been ideal but I do know that whatever gets thrown our way, it will not be as daunting as it was the first time. Please note that this week (Jan. 4 – 7) is a non-instructional week.

I am excited to see all of you on January 10th but in the meantime, it would be very helpful if you were able to fill in a brief survey so that I can have a better sense of the following ( I have sent out this information in an email as well):

  1. the start up to the new year
  2. virtual learning/ technology in the home

Please click the link for survey access: https://forms.office.com/r/rJcA0rcmyp

On another note, snow can be a controversial topic in the lower mainland. How do you feel about our recent snowfall? Do you feel more like image 1 or image 2? Comment below!

I hope to see you all very soon! 🙂

Sometimes we are Image 1, but most of the time we are Image 2. We have been able to take advantage of the recent snowfall by sledding, tobogganing, snowshoeing, and downhill skiing. We were fortunate enough to obtain season passes up at Seymour this year!

That’s fantastic!! I will also be practicing my skiing skills up at Mt. Seymour this year so hopefully I will see you there! 🙂

Most days we’re image 2, enjoying sledding etc. Especially since the snow actually stuck for quite some time this year!
