- Watch The Teddy Bears’ Picnic. Create your own Teddy Bears’ Picnic. You can draw, use stuffed animals (not just bears), toys, or loose parts. Write about what would happen at your Teddy Bears’ Picnic. Think about the setting (where it would be), the characters (who is there) and what will happen at the picnic (the beginning, middle and end of the story). This is like story workshop, I read you a story to inspire you to create your own story that is similar to the one I read, similar to what you did with Ms. Field for Story Workshop.
- Math: practice skip counting and play an addition or subtraction card game
- Reading: Grade 1’s: read on Raz Kids, make a recording if your haven’t yet this week. Kindergarten: listen to a story on Tumblebooks or have someone read to you. Tell someone about the setting and the characters in the story.
Optional Activities:

- Have someone create some addition and subtraction questions for you to answer
- Read an extra book on Raz Kids.
