Division 7 students read, “When We Were Alone”, written by David Robertson and illustrated by Julie Flett. We had a group discussion comparing the main characters’ experiences at school versus their own experiences at school. We discussed how important it is to feel safe and happy at school. Division 7 students recognize and acknowledge that EVERY CHILD MATTERS!
