Language Arts: 

Reading: We are using reading strategies such as, summarizing, paraphrasing, non-fiction texts, and gathering information within our Heritage Project. Soon we will be starting literature circle.

Writing: We have officially started essays! Each student is writing an argumentative essay. We are also working very hard on grammar and editing.

Math: 

Fractions! Test on May 6th.

Science/Health: 

This term we will be combining health and science and will be exploring body systems, diseases and healthy habits.

Social Studies: 

Heritage Fair is done! In preparation for our Victoria trip we are currently learning about the government.

Career Ed: 

This term we are working on career explorations. Each student chose a career to do a research project on.

ADST: 

Each student is currently learning coding!

Art: 

We just wrapped up our colour theory unit and will be moving onto something new!

French: 

We are very lucky to have Madam Lara teaching us French this term. if you have questions about what they are learning please let me know and I will direct you to her.
