AP Psychology Exam Review Dates

It’s that time of year where we begin preparing for the AP College Board’s final exam which will be taking place at noon on May 7th in the library and another classroom. In anticipation of that, I will be running 3 1-hour long review sessions over the the next week and a half. You may choose to attend one or all of the sessions where we will go through the highlights of each unit. Feel free to bring friends from Ms. Carey’s class as well. Here are the dates:

Units 1-4: Tue., April 24 @ 3:15pm
Units 5-9: Thu., April 26 @ 3:15pm
Units 10-14: Tue., May 1 @ 3:15pm

Hope to see you there!

Social Studies 10 -Field Trip Alternative Activity

So you couldn’t make it up to SFU with us? No worries, I have an activity for you!

Your task is to go the the magazine section of the library (or in the Periodical Room with the permission of the library staff) and find an article on a history topic we have covered in the class so far. This can include any Canadian topic from the Laurier Era (1900s) until the Great Depression (1930s). Some great magazines to check out are Canadian History or Macleans magazines.

Once you have read the article, I want you to create an annotated bibliography of it. An annotated bibliography includes both a citation (MLA format) and summary of the article. Click here for more information how to create one.

You should be able to do the work within the hour. The completed work is due at the beginning of next class (Friday, April 13th)
