Maple Syrup by Brandon
Two years ago I went to Montreal because my mom was a flight attendant. One thing that we did was go through a maple syrup tour. We would sit on this thing, sort of like a carriage and these horses would move the object that was like a carriage. After a while we could see a large amount of maple syrup trees with spiles and buckets underneath. After we went into a wooden house with no door, inside was people who would help us make maple syrup treats. We would use a popsicle stick and they would pour maple syrup onto some ice, then we rolled the popsicle sticks over the maple syrup and then it would be like a popsicle but maple syrup is on it. Then we just went back into the hotel.

Brandon,
You are extremely lucky to have experienced a cabane a sucre in Montreal! It sounds like you had a lot of fun taking a horse ride in the woods and making maple toffee lollipops. Did you also have a big feast that was drenched in maple syrup? I heard that happens at these ‘sugaring off’ events too. Although I lived in Montreal for a few years, I never had the chance to go to a cabane a sucre but hope that I will be able to go in the future. Thanks for sharing your experience with us! Did you get a chance to see how they boiled down the sap?
That sounds fun!i want to try one of the maple syrup treats
Awesome! How long did it take to make the maple syrup treats? How did it taste like? Was it good?
Wow, that sounds awesome! I really want to try the maple syrup treats. Have you been any other places since your mom is a flight attendant?
I remember when you gave me maple syrup candies! I finally ate one after two years and it is sugary and is sticky.
