What is peace?
- EM: Peace is calm, happiness, and kindness.
- AH: Peace is when people stop fighting and say sorry and be nice to each other in a calm place. Don’t exclude each other. Fix your own mistakes.
- MT: Being quiet. Being kind and making new friends. Love and peace.
- AR: Peace is having courage and also when you stop fighting and take a deep breath.
- AM: Peace is being calm even when someone does something mean and just walks away. Keeping promises instead of lying. Being mindful around you.
- DP: Generosity and sharing and helping.
- RW: No hitting and yelling at each other.
- KY: No fighting
- SE: Be kind and don’t be mean.
Where does it (Peace) come from?
- EM: your heart
- AR: courage
- MT: your body and your feelings; inner peace; good mood
- AH: two people being kind to each other
- AM: a calm and beautiful place
- CS: your brain
- DP: helping others; kind actions
- KY: quiet and calm places
How can you find it?
- ES: Through breathing. Breath in and out.
- RW: Do something that can calm you down.
- EM: Try to dig deep inside of you. Meditate.
- AR: Take a deep breath.
- AH: Snuggle your dogs or make yourself laugh.
- DP: Find love inside of you. Don’t give up.
- MT: Listen to calm and peaceful music and think about the things that you like.
- AM: Think happy thoughts and make a playdate with your friends.
How can you keep it?
- RW: Always be kind to others.
- EM: Being kind to others and offering help.
- MW: Don’t say mean things to others.
- AM: Try your peace strategies again to regain your peace. If it doesn’t find work, try a new strategy.
- MT: Always try to control yourself.
- AR: Remind yourself that it is going to be okay.
- AW: Talk nicely to everyone.
