Keep your tempo steady by using a metronome …

Or maybe you would like to add some drums while you play?

Try adding an online drum machine!

* You can also change the tempo, the drum sounds, and the style of drumming *

Need to write down the melody that is in your brain?

Hello Chaffey Band students —

I emailed you a “welcome back” letter on Sunday — and I have been working hard to find tools for us to use during Term 3 Band.  There are lots of unknowns — but we can do this together.  🙂

Please fill out this quick TERM 3 BAND SURVEY hereas soon as possible!

I’ve asked the school district technology team to create a Band TEAM for us — I haven’t heard back yet (… because they are super-busy trying to get the whole district set up on technology right now!) — so in the meantime, please check back remember to check this blog regularly for any updates.

I’ll be in contact again very soon — keep working on all of your scales and pieces.  Definitely focus on Ayre & Dance, and Presto!

I will be linking some audio files so that you can listen for how your part fits into the piece — you may even want to try playing along with the recording!

Do continue to fill out your practice records — I will figure out the best way to collect them very soon.

I know there will be some glitches and challenges as we get rolling again, but I’m looking forward to testing out the technology options with you all — and seeing what we can learn and accomplish.

Thanks everyone!

Ms. Lee 🙂
