We’ve had a busy few weeks with last week’s Ultimate tournament, the play, Science Alive’s return to our class for coding, and sports day tomorrow!
For those not coming to Camp Elphinstone, students will have many fun activities and some work to do with Ms Ng at school next week at Aubrey!
If you are coming to camp, the keys to remember:
Arrive at school for 7:45am on Monday.
Bring a sleeping bag and pillow.
Small towel.
Toothbrush & deodourant.
Weather-appropriate clothes and bathing suit for kayaking & optional swim.
Small bag to take out of larger bag for anything that shouldn’t go into the heat room (medications, camera, deodourant).
Remember – no snacks or phones including smart watches at camp! The other teachers and I will be posting lots of pictures from camp of all the kids!
The first photo below is a scale model of our solar system if the sun were the size of a tennis ball. Pluto would be over 450m away!
