Stress

When I am stressed I can walk away and think about the problem and find a fire drill solution for any stressful problem I can look for solution. Somethings that are stressful for me are Raine.  She asks me questions.

Hardy, because he say hey big boy.  I never go to kindergarten and it is stressful. I love to do math. I love lit circles I read a book called Stone Soup. Reading something or do math is cool. And calms me down when I am stressed out.

stress management

The stress that you did not finish your homework reminds me of when I was in China, the teacher in China make at least 9 homework every day. We dismiss at 5:10 or even more lately, when we arrived home, it was almost dinner time. When we had our dinner, I spend many time on finding my text books, erasers, pens and my homework books, waste my time is more like it.

When I was ready to do my homework, I talk and distracted with my brother at the most of the time. Even though I waste many time, I still need to finish my homework, because in China, all the homework are due tomorrow, so if the homework are easy, I can complete it at 10:30 or earlier. But if the homework are a little hard, I can only complete it at 11 o’ clock. The next morning, I had to arrive school at 7:50, what that means I had to get up at 6:40——I didn’t get enough sleep.

I had changed that when I came to Canada. In China, my room doesn’t have enough space to have a table for me to do my homework, so I do my homework in my brother’s room, and now, my room have enough space to do my homework, so I can do my homework with no distract.

I realized that I did not give myself enough time, so I finish my homework late, and I distracted with my brother so I can’t do my homework seriously, do not put off!

Blog #10 what August deserve this medal

August deserved the William Beecher Ward medal because the medal is about a person had courage to stand to self and showed the kindness, and August just showed it through the whole book. When Julian saw August the first time, he absolutely seemed rude to August. But August don’t care about how Julian did to him. When Julian E-mailed to August to apologise, August forgive him, too.

Just like the book says before, it doesn’t matter what you looks like! And I remember a sentence: treat them the way you want to be treated, even though the other people was rude to August, August was still nice to them, and when August lost his hear ring, while he is really sad, but Jack and the other people call him “little dude” and making jokes to make him happy.

Stand up to self and show the kindness, that is all we had to do.

My Stress Management Strategies

Everyone deals with stress once or twice (normally more) in their lifetime, here are a few of my strategies of how to deal with stress.
I can mostly deal with stress is some situations. For example, homework. I handle this problem by planning ahead, I plan what homework I should do on specific days. There are other ways to handle homework.

One of them is trying to be organized, actually you should you organized ALL THE TIME. Sometimes, I personally leave my math textbook at my bin. Which leaves me to worry about it until it’s the next day, which is when the homework is due. Another small tip that I use is putting your planner inside of your binder, so you wouldn’t forget about it that often. You might notice that there are three holes on the side of your planner, which is where you can place your planner, It may take up a lot of space (and it’s heavy) but it’s at least better than forgetting to bring your binder or planner.

If you’re REALLY stressed about something else besides homework then maybe you should take a break and calm down. Normally if I get mad or sad, I try cheering myself up by doing something I like. If I’m nervous, I doodle on my paper little patterns. Or I just make a full drawing of a subject I particularly enjoy. You could also take a little walk outside and clear things up. Everyone has their own strategy!

Blog #10: Why Auggie deserving of this medal

Auggie deserves the William Beecher Ward medal because he truly earned it. The medal is about a person having courage to speak up and show kindness towards others, which Auggie has exceedingly showed throughout the book. Many parts in the book show how Auggie can get through whatever course passes him, like when Jack and Jamie saw Auggie, Jamie acted a certain way that would really hurt the person he was reacting to. But Auggie didn’t mind for he knew that Jamie wasn’t the one to blame, and nor was Auggie.
When Auggie was awarded the medal, I began to think that some people may have gone and asked themselves, ‘Why him? Why Auggie?’ Well, to be honest, the answer was what the book was referring to all along. It doesn’t matter what you look like or if you’re different from everyone else. It matters how you treat others and what kind of respect you treat them with. Throughout the book, the personalities and the traits the book has been talking about was being implied about Auggie. In the interim, Auggie has been trying to act like an ordinary kid like everyone else in Beecher Prep. But the thing is, no one was born to fit in because everyone was born to stand out, and it really is a waste when something so extraordinary and worth wondering about was never discovered or encouraged to speak out.

Blog #11 Weird Things I Do When I’m Home Alone

Hi, my name is Diyana and I am really really weird so I’m going to be writing an article about ‘weird things I do when I’m home alone’ and hopefully you guys get a laugh or smile.

So like, I said I’m really weird and one of the things I do is burn the house down, although, I don’t mean for it to happen but I’m literally cursed, everything I do causes problems. For example, there was a time I was hungry so I put some food *microwavable* in the microwave, and 2 seconds later it caught on a little fire! LIKE, WHO INVITED YOU AND? HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? Anyways, I stayed hungry and trust me I did not care after what happened.

Next thing is make sure all the windows are closed, blinds down so that no one can see, or hear you.

Why I’m saying that is because I get in my comfort zone and that is bad, like really bad and what I do when that situation happens is dance to really loud music, I even sing on the top of my lungs and I probably made all my neighbor’s deaf by that. But thank you so much for reading this article and see you guys next time BYEEEEEE.

Jack’s Perspective Blog #9

What it has to do with Jack Perspective in the start is it that it doesn’t matter what you see on the outside is what you see on the inside basically meaning it doesn’t matter and what it has to do with Jack is that people don’t see what in Jack or Auggie, jack can talk to Auggie and have fun with him cause he doesn’t care what he see on the outside and what the quote means that people don’t see what inside they only care whats on the outside and if you feel empathy  for someone you understand how they feel and it doesn’t matter how they look so you help them right when there sad and so that’s what jack did for Auggie when he was getting bullied. So if you understand someone a lot you understand so you know how they feel. My evidence for this that jack learn a big lesson to not judge people by how they look. So this is what I think it has to do with Jack’s Perspective.

Blog #7/Why I Think that Auggie and Via are wiser beyond their years

I think that Auggie and Via are wiser beyond their years because Auggie has gone through a lot of stuff (like his surgeries) that most of the other kids haven’t gone through and he knows what it feels like to be bullied a lot because of your face,(though no one bullies him anymore) and to  have no friends. Since Auggie has gone through all this stuff already he knows how to deal with it, making him wiser than other kids who don’t know how to deal with this. Therefore, he has a higher emotional IQ than other kids.

Via is wiser than a lot of kids her age because she started doing everything herself at an early age. For example, Via has learned to do everything herself without her parents’ help because she knows that her parents are busy helping Auggie and she knows how hard it must be to be Auggie (always being teased because of your face) and she has sympathy for him. Also, Via never complains when she wants to spend some time with her parents or she needs her parents help but their busy helping Auggie, because she is very understanding while most other kids would just complain.

In conclusion, I think that Auggie and Via are wiser than people their age because they are more understanding than people their age.

New year’s resolution

My goal is to accomplish by cleaning my binder, my bin, concentration and typing faster.

I want to accomplish these goals because it will help me allot at school, and so my parents can be proud of what I accomplished so I can be proud of myself.

I am going to accomplish this by whatever I get I put the paper in my binder right away. I will clean my bin by doing it every week to see if it is messy. I will make myself listen by telling myself that I have to listen or else I will get in trouble and they will ask me questions, and I want to type faster by practicing every weekend and doing text typing.
