Blog#11 My favorite Thing to do

I have lots thing I like to do. I like to play video games. My favorite video games is Block N Load, is a games you can download at steam and it’s free .I like to play this game because this game is fun and you can play multiplayer ,you choose someone and you kill another player. This game is all block so is like Minecraft, you can build blocks to protect your turret and someone need to destroy another player’s turret.

I like to play sport too, my favourite sport is badminton. I have lesson every Friday, and I play badminton every Sunday. Every time when we play badminton my aunt drive me and my brother to where we play badminton, we like to play badminton, but I’m not so good at badminton so I ask my parent can I have a badminton lesson, and my parent agree. So now I have badminton lesson now.

This two is my favourite thing to do.

Why does Auggie The William Beacher Award

Ever since auggie came back from camp the school has changed alot. Auggie posters, drawing, and auggie’s original drawings. Maybe auggie deserves the reward because when they went to camp his friends were there for him and his friends were there for him so when he got discriminated auggie before in the past now the future is now auggie and he is a very nice guy to everyone.

Like auggie is everyone in Maywood safe, thoughtful, accepting, and respectful he’s a S.T.A.R. learner. This is why I think auggie deserves the medal.

My Experience Writing a Book (So Far)

Hello, reader. My name is Afnaan. I live on Earth, in the solar system, Milky Way Galaxy, in the vast cosmos of the universe. I am writing a novel called “The RuneScape”. The first thing you should know about writing a book is that it is quite difficult coming up with original ideas. If you have difficulty with that, I feel your pain. The way I came up with the concept of the RuneScape is first of all, I brainstormed. I failed to come up with an idea using that method (Brain-puking all my thoughts onto a lined piece of paper), so I tried the next best thing. I grabbed my books from my bookshelf and sorted them into alphabetical order (I’m not weird, I just think clearly when I do that). As I was sorting, a brilliant idea sprung from my highly logical, non-creative brain. Why don’t I just take inspiration from my favourite books? I thought. I found my favourite books (Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, Maze Runner by James Dashner, Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan, and Legend by Marie Lu) from my neatly placed and organised pile of books (Not to brag) on my desk and read through those books again. Yes, I had that much time, because I had finished all of my math homework from the day before. I took some good ideas and plot-lines from the books and added my thoughts and finally reached a conclusion. I finally had a solid plot for my book! (Yay!)

I needed to inaugurate (Start) typing before the thoughts disappeared from my head in a puff of smoke. So, I grabbed my laptop and opened a word document and started writing. “Jack hated his life. He was orphaned when his mother and father disappeared mysteriously and never reappeared.”  “He had planned for ages to escape BIG HEARTS orphanage. With its dusty walls, creaky floors, and horrible mistresses.” I learned that you have you be very descriptive and paint a picture in the minds of your readers (And don’t use fancy words so that your readers don’t have to search up the meanings on Google every five seconds).

Fonts! Yay fonts! My favourite part of writing a book is choosing the font. For the title, you can use pretty much any font you want. But for the actual writing piece you have to use: Aster, Cambria, Cambria Math, or Bell MT. It’s best to use these fonts because they are distinctive and easy to read.

Last of all, you absolutely cannot write a book on your own. Keep writing, keep working, keep developing, but you will always need help in one of these areas: Writing, Illustrating (If you want to), the Cover art, and Publishing. Keep this in mind if you plan to be “Cool and independent” (Wow, I can’t believe I said that).

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog. I hope all of the people who desire to be an author found this at least a little bit helpful. I wish you a good day!

blog#8 New Years Reservation

Every New Year I come up with resolutions to help me live my life better. This year, I would like to spend more time focusing on my education. This resolution is important to me because it helps me learn how to control the thing in my life and myself.

Last year, and even some years before, there were a lot of difficulties I was experiencing, including  rumours, gossip, girl drama, and people moving away. Because of this, my mind was wandering a lot, and I got easily distracted, and sometimes I got off task, or I wasn’t paying attention. That’s why I’ve gotten the idea to focus on my studies and not about catching up on trends or having quarrels with other people.

I plan to finish my work on time and not to procrastinate because it leads to failing grades. I already have a schedule for each of my activities to help me segregate and organize my stuff. Sometimes at night I start my homework late, which means  I don’t get the rest I need to focus on things I need to work on. Of course I may not always be where I’m supposed to be at times, but I’ll just look out for myself so that I won’t get overloaded with the pressure.

In 2017 I think it will be a really great year, not only because I understand what I didn’t understand before, but because 2017 has already gotten off to an awesome start. Although this year it seems like the days are longer, I’m sure I can focus as hard as I can on my education then I did last year.

How to deal with stress

– What is stress?

Stress is a combination anger and scared like if you are not done your homework and its 8:45 stress if you do your homework late in night and early morning (1am) stress all thing can stress you, but NOT all thing can stress you out.

– What causes stress? (for Example)

If you are not done your homework and its 8:45 stress, if you do your homework late in night and early morning (1am).

– What does causes you to be stress

When people pronounce my name wrong on purpose,

When people roast me so mean.

-how do you deal with stress

I can deal with stress is to make/buy a stress ball or spend time with your family whatever calms you down is your stress ball.

I can also go outside and breathe, drink water and spend time outside run around like that. This is all the thing I can say about stress and deal with stress I hope you found this article helpful

BLOG #10 Why is Auggie Deserving of this Medal

I think he deserves this medal because he has bravery and courage. Auggie doesn’t give up and tries to make other people not give up. Most of the time he doesn’t care about what people say about him. He had bravery to go to school and stood up against the Grade 7s. He cares about people around him, he cared about Jack when Julian made everyone against him and he cared about his Dad when Daisy died. If people see his bravery then they would be nicer to him because people think that he is not brave because of his face. Like when he was brave against the Grade 7s everyone was nice to him. Auggie is a good friend and that’s what I think he deserves that medal
