If there is a new comer, I will first show him/her where the music room is, where the gym is. If the new comer is in grade 5, I’d tell him/her about the U center, about where it is, what we do in it. If the new comer is a boy, I will ask him if he likes soccer more or basketball more, if he like soccer more, I’ll introduce him to the boys in my class who play soccer every day. If he likes basketball more, I will introduce him to the boys who play basketball. If the new comer is a girl, I will see if she likes to run and play more, or walk and talk more, if she like to walk and talk more, I will introduce her to the grade 6s in my class, if she like to run and play more, I will let her play with me and my friends. I will also tell the new comer about Bonser, about what you can do in there and if he/she is a grade 5, I will tell him/her about the Be Active card, how you can get it and stuff. If there is still lit circles when the new comer came, I will show him/her about how you are supposed to do 2 skinny questions, 2 fat questions, 1 connection, 3 words, and a wild card. I will also tell the new come about the tribe jobs, how we change jobs each week. If the new comer is in ELL, I will show him/her where she/he was supposed to go. I will make the new comer feel and be in the community.
