Blog #10 Things that I would bring!

If I had 3 min. to pack and evacuate I would pack 3 items. I would pack in a box my 2 guinea pigs, my phone and my guitar. My guinea pigs because they are my first pets and they are animals I can’t leave my pet behind, it would be like leaving my best friend behind. And also my guinea pigs were very expensive.

I would also bring my phone because it is also a very expensive item I have and it would be a very good source of fun when I am bored.

And lastly I would bring my guitar because it is one of my most special items because music is also one of my favorite activities to do when I have no electronics.

Blog#10 Special things I would bring

If I had 3 min. to pack and evacuate, the special things I would bring are my stuffed animals, diary, pink sweater, shorts and electronics.

First, stuffed animals. I would bring them because they had company with me for a long time. Most 8 years and least 5 years. So I would immediately bring them when I have to leave the house.

Second, my diary, I wrote a lot of things in it. I wrote about my family had gone to a fieldtrip, what I did during my birthday and what I’ve done at school. I always feel good when I read through my diary, it makes me feel as if I had start to live all over again.

Thirdly, my pink sweater. Canada rains a lot so sometimes it’s really cold. So my grandma made my sister and I each a pink sweater. My sister’s is bigger than mine. The sweater is soft and warm, so it’s keeping you from cold. It’s important is because my grandma hand-made it, which makes it special.

Fourthly, shorts. Some of my pants were too small for me, so my grandma had cut them to make my shorts. They are good because it was hot and the shorts are better than the leggings in the summer. They are important to me is because my grandma made them into a better clothe, plus my grandma had made them for me to feel better.

Lastly, electronics. You can phone you families if you have signals. You can call them if they didn’t know what’s happening and they don’t know where to go. If there is an emergency and you have to buy the food and necessary things then you can sell your electronics. But I would not sell my electronics except there is an emergency. I would do this is because my mom give it to my sister and I for a special gift.

Blog Post #6 The best things in Term 2 were

I think the best things happen in term 2 were Art, Buddies and Science.

I like the art, for its painting. I like to mix the colors, then get a new color. The art was very creative, I can mix anything I want to get a new color that I haven’t get yet. When we tried to mix a brown, I got a color that is like a purple-brown. When we are almost cleaning up so I mix all the colors together and get a proper brown. In the next class, I starts to mix more colors, I got moss green, blue-green, red-purple and some other colors. I like the way that we’re free to do any colors we want.

I like Buddies, we can do activities together. My buddy was a little girl who don’t speak English. She’s like a copy of me when I’m third grade and I just came to Canada. I can still communicate to her (barely) by using actions. Like when I ask if she want to do it herself or I can help her, she won’t answer. But when I take out the scissor to her and point at me then her, she took the scissor and cut the paper herself. If I can help her learning English, I’ll be very happy. Seeing her learning is like seeing myself in third grade learning. Now I know how hard is to the teachers for teaching me when I know nothing but math in third grade.

I like Science, it let me know the steps for the food to go through in my body. I like the Circulatory System, it responsible for the heart to pump and carried the blood by veins through the whole body. Then the pumped blood went back to the heart and been pumped out again. I learned new things about digestive system. Although it’s a bit disgusting. I learned other new things for other system too. Like veins carries the wastes, blood and nutrients through the body. The video of digestive system is not too good before lunch.

journal entry #8

Our community is a great place! Everybody is nice and welcoming. If someone new came to my community I would tell them these things about our community.

There are lots of places that I like to go to, here are some places that I think you should go to too. The youth center is a great place to go and meet new friends. You can hang out there after school, and sometimes they even take you on field trips. At the youth center you can play video games, have snacks, and you can also play sports.

A place I go to a lot is Bonsor recreation center. There are tons of different things you can do there, you’re sure to find something you like. Inside the building you can go swimming, do yoga, and play basketball, tennis, ping-pong, karate, and so much more! Outside of the rec. center you can play soccer, baseball, go skateboarding at the skate park, and also play at the playground.

If you like to sit down and read a book somewhere quiet and peaceful, the library is the place for you. We just got a renovation there last year and now you can even check out your book by yourself.

Don’t forget my favourite place of all, the metrotown mall! Our mall is the 2nd largest mall in Canada! There are so many stores where you can shop for clothing, shoes, accessories, and food. The mall even has a movie theater called silver city! You don’t always have to go shopping at the mall, you can always go to just hang out.

Where do I want to live in (Blog #9)

I want to live in many places.

I like to live in my home in Kunming, Yunnan China.

First, I like it is because China has a lot of delicious food. Around my home there were a lot a food stores. My grandma use to make a drink with banana, apple, orange and peaches mix with milk. All my friends (plus me and my sister) love it. I wish my grandma was here to make me the drink. My grandma told me that now Kunming has more than before, which makes me want to go back even more. My friends told me that if I go back, they will have a snack party with me.

Second, in Kunming, there aren’t very much difference between four seasons. It’s was not hot in summer, not cold during winter. So it was very comfortable. When it’s cold, I only need to wear a jacket to keep from sick, so it wasn’t much difference. Kunming had a name because of the seasons.

Lastly, tea. China has lots of tea that I like. In my home, we have a whole set of tea. My mom had taught me how to boil the tea. I like the way the tea tasted like. We were often sitting in the backyard of my uncle’s (where had lots of flowers, so I often water them. Once I saw a lizard). My family was both chatting and drinking tea, and I was reading, I enjoy the time while I was there.

I like Canada too.

First, Canada has clean environments, clean air and clean water. So I barely get sick in Canada. Opposite in China. Some places in China had been polluted badly, but Kunming was like on top of a mountain, so it hadn’t be affected.

Second, in Canada there was snow and rain. I like the way that it was almost same climate in the year in China, but I also like the rain and the snow. I like the smell of rain, and I like the sound too. I like snowman, and sometimes build snow castle with friends.

Lastly, I like Central Park. Once when I went there a little squirrel ran after me. We kept on walking and the little squirrel in still running after me. Mu family thought that was because I bring some snacks and it had smell it. Central Park was fun, with the playground at the end.
