I’m ok with being matched because you are allowed to write your interests on a sheet of paper submit it and then they work off that.

You will always have someone at your side so you can never feel alone.

You can use both of your interests and bond over that and you won’t feel like you have no say.

Personally I would want to get matched because , the women that the elder’s give me would be the same person like we would like the same interests and there will be no one alone everyone will have a husband or wife and there will be no divorces there will be no fighting you would always get along and be together forever .

I think that the stirrings are feelings of authority over people and that the community doesn’t want people having these feelings because they want control over people so they can create the perfect society. I also think they might be feelings of love and affection towards people and that that the community doesn’t want people having these feelings because you don’t get to choose your spouse, and if you have feelings of affection towards someone else you might not want to apply for a child or you might want to be divorced which would create disorder in the community, which the community doesn’t want because they are trying to create the perfect society.

I wouldn’t like to be matched by the elders, because I think it’s too forced. This is another way the community is trying to make everything perfect, but it’s too much. They’re forcing you to be with someone for the rest of your life. You should have the choice to be with someone, you want to be with for eternity. Well up until you get released. This community is filled with a bunch of non-feeling robots. Even when you’re forced to marry someone. You will never have affection for them, because of the pills you have to take, that stop you from having stirrings. Even though I would have no feelings in this community. I still wouldn’t like to be matched.

I wouldn’t like to be matched because I think you should have a choice about who you want to marry and who you are going to live with for the rest of your life , If your going to be a person that you would love and would love you back. Sometimes not having a choice about who you want to marry could be a good thing, like no one will be alone and if you like the same interests you could always do them together. But my choice would be not to be matched because I think that only you could make choice not anyone else.

I would not want to be matched by the community elders because if you are matched you will only get to meet one person and no one else. If you are not matched you get to meet more people and you can pick if you want to marry them or not. Another reason is because if you are matched you do not get the freedom of choice and if you do not like the person you got matched with you might get released and if you are not being matched you do not get released if you do not like the person, because you pick who you want to marry those are all the reasons I do not want to be matched.

The Ceremony of 1:

The Ceremony of 1 for me is when I started drinking bottles by myself and scribbling and finger painting. My mom said I was obsessed with drawing too. For this ceremony, I received paints, and a pink bottle.

The Ceremony of 4:

The Ceremony of 4 for me is when I was doing pre-school, running around, and playing dress up with my dolls. I also liked dancing and singing, so my mom signed me up for jazz, tap, and ballet. I also started learning to ride a tricycle, and joined gymnastics. For the ceremony of 4 I was given a bike, ballet flats, and a dollhouse.

The Ceremony of 5:

When I was 5 I had already started kindergarten, and I was watching TV by myself too. I watched Treehouse, Disney Channel, and Pixar/Disney movies. That was also the year I made my first 3 friends. For the ceremony of 5, I was given a friendship bracelet, a TV remote, and another doll.

And those are my ceremony of ages for when I was 1, 4, and 5!

I think he is special because of his eyes. The book said that most people in the community have dark eyes. I think he will come later in the book. I think he might be special when he grows up. I think he might have a relation to Jonas.

1. Ceremony of new born: My name James comes from my papa. His name is James and he passed away when I was 4 years old. Roland comes from my god dad and he is awesome. He is awesome because when he hunts for deer then gives some to my dad. Alan comes from my dad. He is so fun we play soccer and basketball. Pascal comes from my dad his dad so that is why my name is special to me. And I was born is Squamish and I was razed in Mount Currie for 10 years it is so beautiful there. I was born on September 19\2002
2. Ceremony of 2 when I was: 2 years old I had a brother named Laurent, Laurent comes from my dad’s best friend.Ethan that just sound cool for his middle name.A.J comes from my uncle Owen middle name. Pascal comes from my dad’s last name and my dad’s dad came from. Laurent was born in Vancouver he was razed in Mount Currie for 8 years. Laurent was born on February 29 2004
3. Ceremony of 11 when I was: 11 I had a new brother named Mc  Garrett,Horatio,Wyatt, Pascal.Mc Garrett comes from 1 of the guys on Hawaii 5-0.Horatio come from the leader of that
4. Ceremony of 12 when I was: 12 I had another brother Anthony, Anthony comes from my stepdads best friend and Edward comes from my mom and stepdad’s grandfather Cruz just sound like a cool middle name and Pascal comes from my stepdad’s name but Pascal comes from my dad’s name and my step dads name they were cousins This is my Ceremony of Age.

I think the guy on the cover is homeless and maybe he gives stuff to get stuff. Or maybe he is some sort of angel that comes down from heaven and frees the kids. But wait, I see on the cover there’s an old guy and a forest maybe he is stranded on the forest. Wait the title says the giver, what does an old guy have to do with giving. Well I think is maybe he gets off the island and he is so blessed to get off the island he just gives things to people I also think he may be homeless because on the cover he has a long beard he is old and he has wrinkles plus it looks like he doesn’t take care of himself. Final prediction I think he’s homeless
