I think the guy on the cover is homeless and maybe he gives stuff to get stuff. Or maybe he is some sort of angel that comes down from heaven and frees the kids. But wait, I see on the cover there’s an old guy and a forest maybe he is stranded on the forest. Wait the title says the giver, what does an old guy have to do with giving. Well I think is maybe he gets off the island and he is so blessed to get off the island he just gives things to people I also think he may be homeless because on the cover he has a long beard he is old and he has wrinkles plus it looks like he doesn’t take care of himself.
