Hi Families,
Just a few things before our field trip on Friday 🙂
- I have reached out and confirmed with the parents coming with us to Grouse Mountain. If you have not heard from me, then you will not be joining us this time. Do not worry though, as we have more field trips to come.
- We are leaving at 9:00am so please make sure to get to school on time! We are bringing our backpacks so please make sure there is only the essentials (water bottle and snack)
- The forecast is calling for a chance of rain so please make sure your child is dressed for the outdoors. For example you could wear, waterproof boots, jackets, gloves, hats, and water proof pants. There is currently no snow on the mountain but have them dress very warmly, we will be outside most of the day.
- Lunch is provided by the program, but please still pack a snack. We will be having a vegetable stew with bannok. It is all Hallal (we confirmed with the kitchen). If you do not think your child will eat it, then pack them some extra food. There will be no lunches from the school meals program.
