Sperling will be recognizing Orange Shirt Day on Monday with an assembly. Please consider wearing orange to show your support for the victims of residential schools.

On Friday September 13th Sperling will hold its annual Terry Fox Run.  Any donations are much appreciated.

On Tuesday June 25th we will be going to Halifax Park with our buddy class for one last fun final visit. Please dress for the weather.

Our annual Volunteer Tea is Wednesday June 12th.  It’s a thank you to all parents and community members who have volunteered their time to help out at Sperling this year. If you have volunteered this year we hope you will stop by. It starts at 1:15.

Sports Day is Thursday June 6th.  Students should wear their team colour and it will be a 1:00 dismissal. Also note that June 7th is a Pro-D Day and the school will be closed for students.

The Sperling PAC is hosting the Fun Fair on May 31st. Check out the posters around the school and PAC emails for more info.

The intermediate concert is Thursday at 1:30 and 6:30.

Student Led Conferences are on May 1st.

We will be going to the Britannia Mining Museum on Thursday. Please be in the classroom at 8:50. The bus leaves at 9:00 and we will not wait for anyone. Make sure you dress warmly (it can be quite cool in the mine) and have a lunch.
