On January 28th students in division 5 had the opportunity to participate in a Zoom call with astronaut Chris Hadfield where he answered questions from students across Canada. We appreciate him sharing his experiences with us.

On December 10th division 5 will participate in the Hour of Code, a worldwide event that aims to introduce millions of students to computer science through one-hour coding activities. We have been working on coding in ADST so students will be able to put their skills to the test.

Sperling’s annual Pumpkin Patch event is scheduled for Monday October 28th. Division 5 will help our buddy class with their pumpkins and do some special activities, including enjoying some hot chocolate. Be sure to dress for the weather, bring a bag for your pumpkin and a mug for the hot chocolate.
