Hello Armstrong Community!
We have had a late start here at the school, but just to let you know that music class is still going along.
We have spent the first week of January preparing for a functional closure of the school. I am always posting the music lessons and songs here on my blog, so you can access your child’s music activities here. Please click on the grade appropriate tab at the top of the page for specific lessons.
We are planning for a Spring Concert in the form of a movie. Your child will learn a song with their class and their performance will be filmed. Then the performances will be put together with a story through-line acted out by our senior classes. We are hoping to stream the movie in April to our student body. The movie will also be posted on your class’ Teams’ site moderated by your classroom teacher. It will be on a private Stream channel and accessed only by our school’s Teams.
The theme of our Spring Concert will be “Colours”. Each class will learn a song with colours in the theme. The plot of our movie will educate our community on diversity, seeing differences, and tolerance.
