Dear South Slope Students:
I have really enjoyed all your submissions this term as we made remote learning our way to make music. Please submit any final activities you’ve completed to my email address by Friday, June 5.
The address again is: teresa.jukich@burnabyschools.ca
If you looked at posts on the blog, but did not complete any activities, I would still appreciate some feedback on what activities you enjoyed. This will help me immensely as we move forward in September! Here is another link to the sheet.

MUSIC AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Songs, or instrumental pieces have special meaning in some families. Often this song makes you remember events from the past, or is a special song that everyone loves to sing. Choose a song, or instrumental piece and reflect on the piece by completing the Response Sheet.

- A song your family always listens to when they are together.
- A song from a family favourite movie or TV show.
- A song that makes you think of a family member (grandmother, uncle, mom, cousin….)

Happy Friday Everyone!
I hope you are keeping your brains busy with all the learning opportunities your classroom teachers are presenting to you! In Mrs. Fierro’s College of Musical Knowledge, there are even more ways to make music while we are apart! I have sent an email to your teachers about this but here are the highlights:
- Check into the blog at least twice a week. Look on this front page, AND the Primary and Intermediate tabs.
- Choose some of the activities to do. No rush.
- Send me an email of you making music! It can be a drawing, a video, a poem, a song! I will provide feedback, and check you off in my mark book!
- There is also a reflection sheet that you may complete at the end of May.
Click here Music Reflection – Term 3 to access the reflection sheet.
I hope we can make music together really soon! Until then, stay safe!
In song – Mrs. Fierro
