So much fun today! Congratulations Confederation Park dancers, parents and teachers who came out to help spread our important message of “Acceptance!” Well done!!
Are we ready? Of course we are! I will be sending home a Pink Project information letter home and Giants tickets on Wednesday, Feb. 5th. Remember, student dancers do not need tickets. Just meet the Confederation Park staff at the north door, gate six between 1:00 – 1:30 on Monday, February 10th. Don’t forget to wear what you’re suppose to wear! (wink, wink) 🙂
Our rehearsals have begun!! Wednesdays at lunch and Thursdays at 8:20 am.
Dear Christmas Concert Choir,
You are invited to celebrate our successful choir season with a little celebration this coming Thursday, January 16th at 8:20am in the music room. We will enjoy a little breakfast of muffins, fruit, croissants and juice! Come and join us for a little morning party!!
Thank you Choir for your outstanding season of music making! I love how we all work together and care for each other. I admire your gracious spirit and am always touched by your beautiful singing! Be proud of yourselves. I am! Happy Holidays!
A reminder to the Intermediate Concert Choir: Our first concert of the season, “A Christmas to Remember”, is this Monday, December 2nd at the Bayshore Hotel. Be sure to get a good night’s rest and wear your finest Christmas outfit!! I can hardly wait! 4 more sleeps!
Also, our “Tis the Season” CD will be premiered at the school’s Art Show this weekend!! CD’s will be sold for $5.00. Thank you to all of our dedicated singers, soloists, accompanists and producer!! You know who you are!

A reminder that our Tuesday morning choir rehearsals start this week. So our schedule from now on will be, Tuesdays at 8:20 and Wednesdays at 12:15.

Recently, our older students have been singing Katy Perry’s song “Roar”. Here is what they are saying…
Alessandro: “You held me down” is referring to her mind thinking negative comments about herself.
Lauren: I think the “you” in this song is anxiety and fear…..(Katy) realizes that she needs to stand up against her own fear.
Austin: The song is about standing up for yourself and for having the courage to do what’s right, take charge and you can be the one that makes a difference by finding the power that is in yourself.
Nicola: The lion represents bravery & courage. The tiger represents strength & independence. The butterly represents what she has become. The bee represents the power that she has now.
Leah: This song is about breaking out of the shell you have been hiding in…finding the courage to stand up and be noticed…being strong!
