Our extra-curricular choir is excited to host a guest from the Vancouver Chamber Choir on Thursday, October 26th. Our special guest will rehearse with the choir at lunch. This is part of Vancouver Chamber Choir’s OnSite program. (see below)
OnSite is designed for small groups of elementary and secondary school students and their teachers or supervisors. The program, provided free of charge, offers a unique learning environment for students and teachers through attendance at a rehearsal, interaction with the conductor and singers, and attendance at the relevant concert. OnSite is not only an experience to treasure, but also a way of establishing and building a long-term relationship between a school and the Vancouver Chamber Choir.
Thank you Vancouver Chamber Choir for this wonderful opportunity!
Welcome back everyone! It’s good to be here! Once again, we have subscribed to Musicplay. This subscription is available to all our Confederation Park students. Here is the website below and the password is a287836. Have fun!
Also, check out the new choir post under the tab “CLUBS”. I updated it today after our amazing first rehearsal. Thank you to everyone who came out to our morning rehearsal!
Our very own choir singing “Nikamo” for the CBC Music Challenge
Welcome back everyone! Is it really already October? ! My goodness, the first month of school has flown by. I have updated the “Clubs” tab at the top of this page. You will find information about the clubs that I sponsor, such as Boomerang Club, Choir, Confed PARK News Club and Dance Club.
I am enjoying the music making that is already happening in our classes…especially the song “Nikamo”.
Earth Day is April 22nd of every year. How might you continue making every day Earth Day? Perhaps this video will remind you what we are working for.
